In 2022, Montblanc pays tribute to Jimi Hendrix, one of the most recognizable musicians of the 20th century and considered one of the most influential guitarists in music history. Crafted from precious resin, the off-white color and carved motif of the lid is inspired by one of Hendrix's guitar straps, while the black body features a stylish pattern reminiscent of a wah-wah effects pedal. The platinum-plated clip is angled, reminiscent of an electric guitar's vibrato lever. The Montblanc emblem on the headstock is made of precious resin. Another remarkable detail is the platinum-plated tank ring, inspired by a guitar cable from the 1960s and engraved with the date of a famous Jimi Hendrix concert.
