TADAO ANDO X BVLGARI SERPENTI TUBOGAS LIMITED EDITION

Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning architect Tadao Ando has designed the latest addition to Bulgari's iconic Serpenti series. The collection, called Serpenti Tuboga x Tadao Ando, ​​is Ando's interpretation of Bulgari's Serpenti jewelry line, which features a stylized snake with a head and tail for each piece. Ando aimed to evoke the four seasons with his watches, choosing colors that evoke each season.

‘Tadao Ando possesses a rare creativity inspired by nature and its fleeting nature," said Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Bulgari's executive director of product creation. "The alignment with Serpenti was instinctive." A metaphor for time and transformation, for the renewal of nature: the snake also sheds its skin and reappears, its colors transforming.’

The first watch in the collection—Summer—aims to “capture the intensity of a sun-shine forest” and features a face made of green aventurine, a form of quartzite, and a strap made of yellow gold and steel. For Autumn, the watch face is crafted from tiger's eye, a reddish-brown stone, while the winter-evoking design is crafted from a white pearl. The Spring version features a pink pearl face, a nod to cherry blossoms.

All watches are finished with a bezel set with 38 diamonds. Each watch will be housed in a box designed and signed by Tadao Ando, ​​and the backs will be engraved with Ando's signature.

The Serpenti Tuboga x Tadao Ando collection stands out as an impressive addition to the recently popular collaboration between renowned architects and luxury jewelry brands.
