Rolex Guarantee

To ensure the precision and reliability of its timepieces, Rolex submits each watch after assembly to a stringent series of tests. All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retailers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.

The green seal

The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.

Rolex presentation box

Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.

Ceramic Bezel and Luminescent Display

The 60-minute graduated, unidirectional rotatable bezel of the Rolex Deepsea enables divers to precisely and safely monitor their dive and decompression times. The triangular ‘zero’ marker of the graduation is visible in the dark thanks to an embedded capsule containing a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting blue glow. The graduation on the bezel is coated via PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) with a thin layer of yellow gold. The blues found in the compression ring, the dial and the Cerachrom bezel insert combine to create a subtle oceanic palette that is accentuated by the 18 ct yellow gold of the case and the Oyster bracelet.

Blue dial

The blue lacquer dial bearing the name ‘DEEPSEA’ in powdered yellow. The dial features large Chromalight hour markers and hands, filled with luminescent material that emits a long-lasting blue glow for excellent legibility in dark conditions. The simple forms of the hour markers – triangles, circles and rectangles – and the hands, which are clearly differentiated in size and shape, are filled or coated with a luminescent material emitting a long-lasting blue glow – for up to two times longer than traditional phosphorescent materials.

18 ct yellow gold

By operating its own exclusive foundry, Rolex has the unrivalled ability to cast the highest quality 18 ct gold alloys. According to the proportion of silver, copper, platinum or palladium added, different types of 18 ct gold are obtained: yellow, pink or white. They are made with only the purest metals and meticulously inspected in an in-house laboratory with state-of-the-art equipment, before the gold is formed and shaped with the same painstaking attention to quality. Rolex's commitment to excellence begins at the source.

Model availability

All Rolex watches are assembled by hand with the utmost care to ensure exceptional quality. Such high standards naturally restrict Rolex production capacity and, at times, the demand for Rolex watches outpaces this capacity.

Therefore, the availability of certain models may be limited. New Rolex watches are exclusively sold by Official Rolex Retailers, who receive regular deliveries and independently manage the allocation and sales of watches to customers.
